Description
Bihun Siam was one of the two debut dishes I cooked at Feast. We had to cook this dish 3 times. Bihun Siam is a beloved Peranakan (Nyonya) or Malay dish of stir fried rice vermicelli noodles in a delicious and appetizing sweet and sour flavors with the umami of fermented beans paste. The dry version comes with tofu pieces, garlic chives, beansprouts and shredded omelette. Crispy fried shallots and cilantro complete the makeup of this dish. Served with a slice of lemon and some gravy on the side for those who prefer a wetter version. Choice of chicken, shrimps or vegetarian.
Pricing per choice of chicken, shrimps or vegetarian.
