Description
This is a nostalgic dish from my childhood. Tender slices of marinated chicken stir fry with black fungus (Wood Ear Mushrooms*) and tossed with crispy fried ginger strips and garlic, and green scallions. This dish is cooked with Chinese rice wine, soy sauce and oyster sauce (optional).
*Found on the bark of elder trees, the wood ear mushroom is a fungus that, while growing, look like a delicate brown ear. This type of mushroom is popular in Chinese cuisine and is known for its crunchy texture and ability to soak in flavors.
Please order steamed white rice separately.
