Description
Hot and sour soup is a Chinese soup that’s spicy (from the white pepper) and savory. I cooked this with julienne cut carrots, bamboo shoots, dried shitake mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, tofu, green peas and egg drops. Thin slices of seasoned chicken or pork is added into the soup.
Soup is served hot with a dash of Chinese black vinegar to enhance it’s umami taste.
Vegetarian version available.
Pricing is per choice of protein or vegetarian.
