Description
Nasi Goreng on the wok gives a “wok hei” flavor that is uniquely delicious for this favorite hawker food in Malaysia. There are many different Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) style.
This photo shows Nasi Goreng with Shrimps and Chicken.
Pricing is per choice of protein.
We also have:
–> Nasi Goreng Kampung
Fried rice cooked with spicy chili gravy and sweet dark soy sauce with stink beans and crispy anchovies. A sunny side egg tops each plate.
Optional for choice of chicken, shrimps or vegetarian.
–> Pineapple Fried Rice
Similar to Thai Pineapple Fried Rice, my version is rich, flavorful without the use of fish sauce. Only light soy sauce is used.
Choice of chicken, shrimps or vegetarian.
–> Fried Rice with Luncheon Meat
Growing up, this was one of our favorite fried rice cooked by my mum. Cubed luncheon meat along with diced vegetables and eggs go into the mix for a delicious afternoon meal.
–> Mom’s French Beans Fried Rice
Dedicated to my mom who tirelessly ensured we ate our vegetables. Diced French beans, carrots, green peas mixed with chicken, eggs and rice. A good doze of thick sweet dark soy sauce makes this fried rice soooo flavorful.
